Lapdog Entertainment has inked a co-production deal with powerhouse, Jayson Won, President of Mad Media Entertainment to produce their upcoming documentary “Kim K: Famous,” a film chronicling the life of one of the world’s most talked about reality stars that is famous for being famous.

Mad Media Entertainment and Lapdog Entertainment are set to begin pre-production January 2012.

According to Thomas Gibson, President of Lapdog Entertainment, Kim Kardashion is by far the most popular glam girl on the Hollywood circuit…she is tinsel town’s ultimate insider, globetrotting from store-to-store from one celebrity event after another—to the bright lights of television and a circus of controversy.

Kim Kardashian is Famous for being famous; she’s rubbed elbows with everyone from Paris Hilton to Tyler Perry. She has eclipsed the popularity of the celebs she’s slept with and has managed to take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself.  Our documentary will go back to the origins of the young starlet and dissect the beginnings of Kardashians worldwide fame that dates all the way back to her father, Robert Kardashian and the media frenzy that followed OJ Simpson.

Kim K: Famous will have interviews with exclusive footage of friends, former lovers and fans who all have been touched in negative and positive ways by Kim.  Our film will show audiences how the popularity of Kim Kardashian has affected the attitudes of young women across the globe who flock to their televisions to watch the life of Kim K and her family play out on television.

Kim K: Famous the documentary will be a no holds barred look at a young woman who has thrown out the original playbook for the meaning of success to create a new age celebrity – one that is more accessible, yet power hungry and more than likely less talented than stars of years past.
